Halloween
Halloween is celebrated annually on October 31st, originating from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The Celts believed that on this night, the boundary between the living and the dead became blurred. Today, Halloween is known for trick-or-treating, costume parties, jack-o-lanterns carved from pumpkins, haunted houses, and horror movie marathons. It has grown into a major commercial holiday, with Americans spending billions on costumes, candy, and decorations each year.
