Common Test for University Admissions (Japan)

The Common Test for University Admissions is Japan's largest university entrance examination, held over two days on a Saturday and Sunday in mid-January. It began in 2021 as the successor to the National Center Test, and nearly all national and public universities as well as many private ones use its scores in their admissions. The test dates are set as the first Saturday on or after January 13th and the following day, and around half a million students apply each year. This countdown shows the time remaining until the first day of the test, the Saturday.
